We also talked about unemployment and the job market, highlighting a potential lack of correlation between a strong economy and a well-performing stock market. Members discussed the upcoming election and its effects on both the global economy and domestic markets, while attendees listened and contributed their insights

During the meeting, we read through and timed the newsletter, edited and ordered its sections, and discussed the best way to release it. We decided to shift the World News focus towards geopolitical news and considered creating four sections, with a fifth person responsible for uploading them to the website. Finally, we tested the release process together.

We talked about Jerome Powell's upcoming Federal Reserve meeting, where he is expected to address interest rate adjustments to manage inflation. Additionally, we discussed Apple's significant AI launch at their WWDC event, highlighting the introduction of iOS 18 and a newly designed Siri, showcasing Apple's shift towards advanced AI technology. We also worked on our inaugural newsletter, drafted it, and planned its launch.

We discussed the May Jobs Report, which far exceed expectations with 272,000 jobs added. We talked about the upcoming Apple WWDC event, anticipating the iOS 18 launch and Apple's focus on AI. Additionally, we noted NVIDIA's 10-1 stock split materializing on market open and the Federer Reserve's upcoming meeting on interest rates and inflation.
